Jubilee Orpingtons

Well, they are finally starting to really look like Orpingtons. Please excuse the boys names, they are Dumb and Dumber..they had not been hanfdled, were underweight etc when i got them it has taken a long time for them to learn normal chicken behavior..still not super savvy about rain.thankfully the older flocks rooster alerts to raptors and the pullets are much smarter. Dumb is the bigger of the two.. he has started crowing..he often chooses to roost with his buddy not his girls on the chick roost..the girls usually choose to sleep in a dog crate rather than roost. They are finally dust bathing, they join the main flock for mid day naps in the banna trees and bamboo as well as junk..( why the bamboo and banana trees were planted to surround the stuff..
