Juice cleanse

We don't restart until Monday. LOL... So last night was a night out where I had plenty of juice... with vodka.

Just in time for a detox. With my headache today, I should be good for night outs for several months. Can't party like I used to. I've lost 3 pounds after the last holiday dinner though. Had a mean green juice yesterday for the energy boost to go out. Would that be considered a miss use?

Can I chop a piece off of my huge aloe plant and juice it? Or is that a species thing? I have the.. broad kind? It's HUGE and has recently sprouted 5 babies since I brought it inside.

Ok, here is my problem today. I have fallen in love with juiced grapes, so I juiced a bag this morning and I brought 4 glasses of juiced grapes to work. This was to be my breakfast and lunch. Well, before ya know it, all of the juice was gone.

So, I don't have any juice for lunch.

You are headed for trouble grapes have the highest sugar content of any fruit. You should be incorporating a more balanced grouping of fruits and vegetables. Do you have any tea bags, you could try drinking plain old hot tea until you can get home and juice dinner. Good luck!

I tried this for lunch and it's pretty good.

Lunch - 2nd Batch
4 stalks of celery
2 carrots
1/4 fennel bulb
small clove of garlic
salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1 red hot pepper

1/2 beet
1 avocado

It's spicy but good

My friend and I were discussing the same thing. We said that there was no way that juiced grapes could be good because it was tooooooooooooooooooooo good.

I do have tea bags and I will make some tea. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the recipe. I will try that.

I don't like many of the veggies that I'm juicing. I only like carrots. Everything else is like YUCK!

What types of veges are you juicing? Maybe cut back on the ones you don't like and add more celery and carrots. The avocado makes them smooth. Also don't be afraid to use spices.
