UPS drove up just a couple minutes after that last post. The juicer is here! We are heading out for the evening, though. So I'll unpack it and try it out tomorrow. A trip to the market for fresh fruits and vegetables is in order.

I got a Cuisinart - it was the middle-of-the-road as far as price, and I believe Cuisinart is a dependable brand. We stopped by the grocery store on the way home and bought lots of fruits and veggies. The cashier mentioned that we sure were buying a lot of healthy food. We said we'd just gotten a juicer. Turns out she had been juicing for the past three months. She said her favorite was carrots, celery and spinach - she said it was really delicious. She also said she has felt better than ever the past three months. So we're ready to get into it.

Glad to see people on here doing this. My coworker did it and had great results. I tried it but have such a bad gag reflex it was not going to work for me. Made me more aware of what i was putting in my body though, need to get back into the healthy habits again. Good luck to everyone doing the juice cleanse

Since on the juice cleanse, I have a greater respect for "bad foods". I know what it can do to your body once it hits your lips and then hits your hips. It's so easy to grab all of this fast food and junk food. I now understand the importance of eating healthy.
