I appreciate your curiosity and I will learn by it.. I am not a teenager that has to experience mistakes, i can learn from others and if others learn from mine, all the better. I am sorry this happened, but am glad you saved the rest.
Mine are due to hatch on the 17th. What I learned from the last group was to NEVER, EVER open during lockdown... I had a bunch popping out and the temp creeped up to 102 and I opened the bator to get them out and the two that had pipped shrinkwrapped... two more still hatched after that, but I believe if I had left them alone, I would have two more little chickies..
On a new note, what do you do when the combined body heat of a bunch of babies increases the incubator temp?
