I’m still dying it’s so cute
I added a picture of it’s dad below too since I got him when he was a day old. They look very similar but nugget here has black skin like a silkie. Only 4 toes though

Alright so I must of been blind this morning because that child definitely has 5 toes on both feet and feathers on them

Today is day 21. This is all I got out of 12 shipped eggs. Hoping this one makes it. There are others in the incubator but no signs.

I went to bed with 5 pips, and woke up to 5 chicks. Though 2 of the ones that had pipped last night are still not hatched. I think most of the rest of the eggs are pipped, but it's tough to get a good look with the chicks knocking them around like soccer balls. I've put 2 in the brooder already to lessen the chaos.

All these cute baby chick pictures are giving me serious baby chick fever. Excuse me while I go stare at my broody a while

2 more to go, but this little one hatched early.

Here are my last two stragglers, I lost count of how many pullets vs cockerels there were. But I do know that the girls far outnumbered the boys in this hatch.
