I don't see any pips. We are at day 21 so I had to come home from work at lunch to see what they were doing. The other 4 don't seem to be doing anything.

I know it's still early and there is tons of time before I give up on the others, but what if I only get 1 to hatch? This was a dismal incubation so if I get 1 it will be nothing short of miraculous. I have 6 BR chicks that are 4 weeks old so she would have company eventually. Will she be sad for the first 3 weeks until I can put her outside with the big kids??

@Ked, am I going to have to learn how to sleep with her? How do you limit the amount of poo you get on your stuff?

I don't like asking this... but I live in MN and need like two chick friends for my little chick... does anyone have they'd be willing to ship soon? My chick is a bantam and is 1 day old.

Got three cute chickies! One dark (blue or black) silkie was hatched when I left for work at 5am, and the other two hatched out before I went to lunch at 10am. Mama's already got the cochin baby eating, but the silkies are hiding under her. The lightest one must have been the last to hatch, because my daughter said she was still damp when she checked them when I called from work. It's not getting up and walking much, cute baby.

These are from Little Ameraucana Mom.

I took a picture of them with a HotWheels car for my family and friends who don't know how small bantams are at hatch. I thought it was cute. This is the lightest silkie. I'd like to believe it's splash, but I think it's probably blue...

Can't decide if I think this bantam cochin is blue or black. I'm hoping for blue, but her blacks are gorgeous, so that would be great too. It also needs to be a male, so

for that! Its daddy was black, in a pen with blues and possibly splashes.

Beautiful Silkies! I have 5 in the brooder from her also. 4 blues and a splash. In the first picture the 2 silkies both look blue, one light, one dark. The splash I hatched was way lighter than that.

Heres a pic of the chicks I hatched from her.

The one on the end is a splash.
