lots of post on this question.Does anyone vaccinate their chicks once they're all hatched? I don't plan on keeping all of mine so I was curious what others do. Sorry if these questions are redundant to some, I haven't seen anyone ask about it.
Five hatched, and 7 pips. Yay! 2 ameraucanas, 1 Sussex, a splash or blue marans and a female black sex link.
Omg omg omg!
First hatch ever, and I was expecting activity starting tonight! But then my fiancé comes into the bedroom saying he sees a cracked egg and no chick!
So I run in and peer inside:
And there this little guy is on the other side of the brooder! Most exciting surprise morning ever!! I see two other eggs have pipped!
So, I wait 24 hours before opening the incubator, yes? This little one is all dry. I know she can subsist for 24-48 hours but she gets so excited to see me I just can't wait to take them out!
I will wait. Painstakingly.
If at the end of 24 hours, there are some who haven't hatched yet, do I still open the incubator???
lots of post on this question.

Yowza! That's awesome! So far I have 10 out of 11 to hatch. And #11 has pipped! I do have one with a small hernia. So 9 in the brooder, left the one with hernia in bator with pipped egg. Hopefully it will dry up by morning. I may get a 100% hatch! Oh and these were shipped eggs!
Opening is totally your choice, but you risk the eggs that have yet to hatch. A sudden drop, even a little, in humidity can and will shrink wrap a chick, or make the membrane very sticky and hard for the chick to hatch.
