Good luck! -Pam

Well, I moved my June hatch from my brooder to one of my separate coops. Some have went to new homes already. Thought I was gonna wait on hatching anymore but couldn't help it. I just picked up 38 eggs that Im gonna set tonight. 24 are Marans, black copper, wheaton, blue, and cuckoo. 14 are Rhode Island Red. Really excited to get some Marans going. By spring I should have a good flock going with this hatch and all the EE chicks I still have.

Will that egg on the bottom row, (not in a turner slot) be considered too close to the motor?  Will you have to manually turn them or will they rock as the the turner tray beside it moves?

Bottom row are welsummers. Have to turn by hand. I didn't think about the additional heat from motor. I will slide them down a bit, thanks. but until my first candle and removal of duds, I have no other place for them. I have lots of wellie eggs in there besides those five.

I just put my extras between the eggs. works for me and after the first candling.. .I
have room in the holes.
Good luck with your hatch
