Thank you. I did that at your suggestion. Customer service is dumbfounded, cant find package, but apparently 2 day priority is still acceptable to deliver after 5 days.. so if they come Monday, usps says thats ok.

That USPS thing won't track after it's left your area..not sure why they even have it. I may have had it get scanned all the way here a few times. You will see it posted on Mon..at your place if it is there yet. I've had many come 5 days out..and actually have a pretty decent hatch. Good Luck. It's always discouraging getting it later than those two days. No fun! Go to the July hatch a long..keep us updated!

Glad to know your hatch was still a sucess when eggs were delivered late. Thanks for that. They were shipped on Wednesday. Guessing laid on tuesday.
Also, I know they dont update after they reach my area. But I am in Mississippi. They havent updated since july 2 in California! Crazy.
Sorry to hijack the thread. Im just nervous and needed someone to talk to.

oh my goodness, I have my first duckling pip and of course it was backwards and upside down! It may have pipped last night because I could hear it then but did not see the bit of broken shell on the paper towel till this afternoon. I took him out and thankfully there was no fluid so I opened up his hole a little so he can breathe and took a bit of shell off. I am sure he is still absorbing yolk, but he is talking away and seems very strong. Funny way to start my hatch, but I am glad he is okay so far. Cutest little bill I ever saw!

Added two more chicks to my hatch today. I had 3 Wheaten Ameraucana's that were due to hatch today that I added after my other eggs. One hatched during the night and the other, which had pipped mid afternoon yesterday still hadn't made any progress today. So late this afternoon I assisted (indeed it was a bit shrink wrapped despite keeping the humidity up). Seems to be perking up a bit now. Not a peep out of the 3rd egg. Will leave it until tomorrow.....

Its because of the holiday probably, to bad though, I would be crazy anxious waiting.

I don't think I will do shipped eggs again. Doesn't even look like anything in the incubator is developing. I bet they are scrambled. I could cry.
I should see veins by day 4 right? -of course I won't give up on them.
Anyone have luck ordering live babies from cackle hatchery?

give them some time try again at about 8 days. See if that's better 4 days seems a little early.
