seems to me the po has been extra rough lately on eggs. I have had way more than usual detached air sacs that never start developing. Just had to throw out 12 Delaware eggs from mrs moon cat from one of the swap chains. Makes me sick. On the plus side I have three SS eggs from hot2pot in lockdown from last months swap. One I think died right before I candled at lockdown , one has pipped already and the other looks to have internally pipped.Ok so I candled my first batch of swap eggs I got them from Shellyga. Out of 12 that she sent me only 2 are growing and I don't have high hopes for them they have very loose sacs. If they hatch I will be shocked. Thanks to the post office for the rough handling. :/ So if they don't hatch I will still want to know what they were going to be.
None have made progress in 3 days now. I was so excited to see what they were, too :*( Oh well... My eggs from Oregon are doing a little better. They have faultly air cells, too on most of them... I wish I could just drive around and pick up my eggs everywhere... So they'd have a better chance at making it. I do have some Silkie eggs in my incubator that are less than a week from lock down and doing great- they were flown from TX, so I guess flying isn't the issue... Must be rough handling
