If you can't get the flats, I would go with the chukar flats. They really do fit coturnix eggs perfectly. The only eggs from my birds that don't fit are eggs from girls who have just started laying, they are a bit big for those.
The quail egg flats are too small by the way, they are more for button and bobwhite eggs.
