Thanks our eggs have just started to hatch 1 oclock our first shell broke how exciting my neck hurts where i have been sitting looking at them for soooo long lol! I am trying to find Rhode island reds here in scotland to buy but cannot seem to find any does anybody know any breeders in scotland to buy from?

I have 6 RIRs they were my first hatch. Had 7 but two were roos so gave one to a little girl friend of ours. tomarrow is lock down on the peacocks and ducks.

My 2 little ones are doing fine 5 days old now. Mamma has them out and about in the run a little more now, and the little buffy spends a lot of time having piggy backs. Will try to get them on film again today.
Am amazed that they both have flight feathers showing already!
And both are intrepid hunters of ants

My RIR rooster Jumped on of the chickens for the first time yesterday but I was thinking that they wouldnt start laying for another 2 month. Is that normal?
