Duck eggs are have cracks in them, Muscovy’s still waiting to hatch. Now I have Eight Quails. Can’t believe the Quails hatched….

I’m at work now, and so many of them are starting to break their shells…ahhh the agony! Can’t wait for a Muscovy Duckling.

6 out of 7, still might be 7 but can't see a pip on number 7

Just took number 7 out to candle and realised it had pipped underneath, I quickly put it back, hope I haven't done any damage, the other 6 are fluffing up now and very cute. One of them seems to be having trouble standing up, it sort of pushes itself around and the others keep standing on it, I think it might just be exhausted, I lifted it up and it looks ok, no deformity or anything. Leaving them all in the bator until tomorrow, they are very small. Have set up the brooder but the weather has turned quite cool so will wait until the morning to move them.

Rather like of any species, they'll come when they are good and ready! Good luck

Had 2 pips last night around 10pm, got up this morning and one hatched. The other is still zipping...seems like it's taking a long time. It doesn't look shrink wrapped and the chick is still moving when I make noise. How long should I wait? Never have had a problem with that. Seems like there's a pip then 8 hours later a chick.

Morag they are adorable...You must be over the moon!!!

My brother lives in Denver

Can't wait!!! Froday seems SUCH a long way off!!!!!

The chick that pipped early yesterday morning hatched yesterday around 3 pm. So cute! Much lighter in color than the others from my chickens. This morning I noticed another pip around 4:00 am so hopefully we'll have another soon.
