Greetings, I'd like to share my hatch dilemna..

Ordered 20 eggs from McMurray, they (24 eggs) arrived 14 May late. Let them rest until Friday morning and set them. No problems with temp and humidity. On Thursday this week (20 days), three delightful youngsters hatch, since them, nothing.
How much longer should I wait? I candled as many as I could but they are a dark. Nothing stinks.

I'd wait atleast another day or two to be sure. Shipping can make late hatches or a lot of late deaths. Sorry but glad you hatched a few.

First time for ducks...I have two in lockdown . One pipped last night and re-pipped tonight a little further down the air cell. The pips just barely cracked the shell. I don't thinkbit cleared an air hole . Not hearing any movement or peeping. Should I be doing something here?

It's probably fine, but if you're worried you can use some tweezers to carefully remove the little pieces of shell where it pipped. I do this sometimes.

how long has it been since you heard something?don't want to dry out the other one if it is trying to hatch, but you could take it out hold it against your ear and see if you hear anything.candle it see what would be a good place to puncture the air sack without hitting the duckling.

Ducks are very slow at hatching. They can go a couple of days after pipping and be fine.

Let them do their thing and don't open the top unless humidity goes down.
