I was on the list to win the poop bingo, and did not, but how can I complain with 11 eggs IN lockdown?

My chicks are 1.5 weeks old and they’re getting crazy If I put my hand in there at least 3 jump on my arm. I’m getting lots of cockerel vibes

Same here! I have 2 frizzles in the hatch I think are pullets. I wonder if the cockerels can influence the pullets behaviors negatively.

So if I don’t have a great candler and don’t really know what I’m doing, I should wait a week? Haha. It’s so hard to be patient

Finally took chick pics. They are silverlaced wyandotte roo over partridge wyandotte pullet who was moved in with a partridge roo a week later.as you can see four are both brown and blue and one is brown and so yellow its green! Look forward to watching them grow

As long as you do it in a very dark room you should be able to see something around day 3 with a regular flashlight. Put the light up to the fat side of the egg and only let light shine through the egg.

The dark brown egg and a tan egg hatched, and 5 pips so far.
The Dark brown egg was from my hens BO/Welsummer, golden blonde chick. The other eggs are BY-mixes, the tan egg that hatched, is also a golden blonde chick, and looking in side a hatching egg, looks like it is going to be another blonde.
