June 6th Merrimack NH Chicken Swap !

Gypsy, I hope your hatch has improved, so sorry about the troubles with the little ones!

Didn't have much luck selling chicks at Milford so I'm hoping my left over chicks will find homes at Merrimack or Keene! Of course we had to leave at 11am on Saturday so I don't know if we might have had more luck if we had stayed. So here's what I have:

2 Speckled Sussex Pullets
straight run:
1 silver penciled Wyandotte/layer cross
3 buff (buff laced maybe?) Wyandotte/layer crosses
1 black Wyandotte/layer cross

I never did get a new set of eggs in the bator (which makes DH very happy!) so I'm not expecting to have anything more available. Mostly I'm looking forward to this swap because I will be picking up my very first Silkie hen there!

Silkies are evil little things, they suck you into loving them and then they turn around and make you want more.
its the potato chip effect ! cant have just one!
Frizzles and Sizzels are the same way lol.

yep turtle is a boy lol , he got into a major fight with one of the smaller 1/2 sizzles?( I think thats what it is) black spikey hair do straight feathers)
He is turning out to be a really nice rooster to be honest. no real attitude to people but the other roosters well not so sweet lol.

OMG that DUccles rooster , what a freakin jerk he turned out to be,( the hen even hates him and avoids him lol) everytime I go in the pen he thinks he is big enough to take me on, more than once he got himself flying lessons. ugh who say chickens cant fly? he flys nicely off the end of my sneakers.
