June 6th Merrimack NH Chicken Swap !

HOME!!!!!! ahh, man, i had a good time today.
Besides the sun burn, ouch!

But i had bad news when i got home,

went to go check on my broody oegb and her chicks, and found her out of her corner with 2 chicks dead, her last one hatched and she was not sitting on it because of the 2 dead chicks in the same corner.

I took them out clean the area and put her on the new on with her other 2 that where not dead, I cant believe it, i think they got way to hot.


And I have good news, I looked in my bator to see if my 4 partridge eggs are done hatching yet, and guess what i found that i was not expecting?

2 white showgirls decided to hatch with them, so i have hatched today 3 partridge silkies and 2 showgirls,
Did not know it was time for them to hatch, LOL

Thank you Gypsy for the white phoenix she is cute and she does not run from Bling Bling. I think she like s him, he gives her the wing, so funny.
So i don't think i will need the booze or candles, well maybe i will take the booze, i will need it when this sun burn kicks in. LOL

Thank you Just a country girl for the awesome eggs.

And Thank you Henpen for the mixed wyandotte, which by the way is acting like a boy, giving others the wing and pecking at them, i had to separate them on the way home. lol

thank you chickn for letting us use your cage.

and thanks to everyone that got some chicks from me, hope everyone is happy, even though the little **** could not keep there feet out of the poopy. lol

looks like my Plym rock silkie cross. did you get it today at the swap?

i survived getting out of this swap without any new birds and selling off most of my little chickies! dh is happy there are less of them, but he was a little miffed that i got some eggs to hatch. told him i'm trying to see if Sweetie will try and hatch them out for me.

i was sooo tempted to get one of those mini rex bunnies. maybe in the future.

No,I hatched it from some eggs I was given....but Plym Rock and Silkie were not among the possible mix.​

My birds parents were out of F3s so that would make your chick an F5
