Hi, I'm an absolute newbie to hatching. we have a broody banty sitting on 6 americauna eggs. two hatched today. one is already dead. We don't have a heater in there because the mama is sitting on them. I foolishly don't have a how-to guide. is there a very simple, easy "here's what you do the day your babies hatch" guide? there's starter mash and water in there for them. Do they need antibiotics or shots or just to be left alone. NO idea why the one died, it's very sad. I did pick it up while it was in the process of pecking at the egg, could that have hurt it? agh!
thanks,
Betsy
