June hatch-a-long!

It’s crazy! I think the problem is that we put too many eggs under her though. Hopefully no more break after this , it’s getting too close to the hatch date and I don’t want to lose any more of them due to something my hen does.

That's a lot of eggs. The most any of my hens have had was 13 and she hatched every single one.

They’re from a friend since my first batch was completely infertile. I asked for about a dozen and she gave me 20 . This is also the first time any of my hens have gone broody so hopefully she’ll be better at it next time.

Guys!!! I sat down to do the last candling and I hear a squeak. At first I'm like weird, then I hear it again and a light tapping noise.

#18 pipped externally!!!!

Though the pip was on the bottom, should I turn the egg back to the bottom?

I candled last night day 7 for some of my turkey and duck eggs...... I have 4 out of 6 turkey and 5 out of 6 duck eggs developing!!

Last night I did a candle before locking down. I had 5 internal pips! Then had a major power outage for almost 3hrs. Temp got down to 88 quick. I put hot water bottles in there and wrapped towels around the bator. After 2 hours we got the generator out. This morning I have 2 external pips!

Seramas! I'm so excited. All 14 looked good so I hope they'll all hatch. I'm worried about #1 though. All the ither air cells look good but #1's air cell it still about as big as it was at day 14.
