June Hatch A Long

wow! that makes sense! thanks!
I have a broody but I’m so afraid to give her the three eggs I have. Can someone advise me on that one. She’s pretty serious and the eggs are 15 days in the incubator and she’s been sitting on store bought eggs that I keep charging so they won’t get bad. Any advice? Should I sneak in the three eggs or should I give her the chicks ones they hatch?

I'm on day 11 - all looking good so far for my first-time broody (as we head in to winter). She is a 7 month old sussex/wyandotte cross. She's doing such a great job. She is sitting on 5 olive egger and 5 araucana eggs :love

My muscovies keep failing on me. Third batch this year with many late deaths. Dead in shells that's internally pipped but not externally seem to be the most frequent, so this time I'm gonna do a tiny safety hole as soon as I see internal pipping. Temp is fine, humidity a bit higher than last year, but what I think is the problem is insufficient turning. I've set the eggs upright instead of laying down. 2 internally pipped so far... :fl
