Mixed flock enthusiast so sorry to hear about your flock. I try with mine to practice safe buying practices. I don't let any birds into the flock until they have been quarantined and healthy for longer than the incubation period for the common sicknesses. Other than that I do get birds from the swaps but our swaps usually try to test for the common illnesses like AI and pullorum before they are allowed to sell there and for the most part like 90% of those selling are NPIP certified as being free of illness in their flocks which helps a lot.
CluckNDoodle ready for those little goslings to make an appearance? I just got word my eggs are sitting at the Post Office. Trying to talk my husband in to picking them up on his way home from work otherwise I will have to get them tomorrow afternoon and that's just not right lol. Should have close to 2 dozen of Orp eggs and another 18 duck eggs for the incubator this run with a DRY hatch fingers crossed. We are on our 4th day no rain my garden is suffering but my humidity is dropping finally.

, my broody was sitting on 4 eggs, 2 of which have hatched, I have 22 in one incubator and it's on day 4, 6 in another and they are on day 3. Don't know if you can make out the little yellow ball of fluff.. went to show he/she to a friend and she spotted another that blended in with the pine shavings.
