June Hatch A Long

Looked at my spotted Australian eggs today, I lost another egg. So I am down from 10 to 4 with two weeks left. Here is to hoping these 4 little eggs are as strong as they look.

Gosh I’m sorry about that Double! So frustrating after waiting all of that time! Any idea what happened?

I mean other than people all said to
Expect like 50% from shipped eggs?

I’m incubating shipped eggs too, 14 day candle is tonight. I know that they have a lot of problems, especially with the air cell, but have not heard of the delayed development that you experienced. Did any hatch? I was just wondering what went wrong. Very disappointing that they didn’t work out!

Yay! Congrats on the new babies! How many hatched total?!

currently we have 8 hatched!!!
moved the 5 remaining eggs to an incubator in house to see if we can get them to hatch. Our last hatch in the coop was yesterday morning and the 2 hens who were sitting on eggs had chicks over 24 hours old with out showing any signs of leaving the nests so we forced the issue took the eggs and moved the babies to the floor. Hens still had to be forced of empty nests to the floor with the babies.
Currently I am sitting by the baby video monitor that we set up to keep and eye on what is happening in the coop!

Ugh what a day. I'm so looking forward to babies in the next day or two. One of my dogs got one of my favorite pullets this morning. Pretty sure she punctured an air sack. Trying to get the baby to sleep so I can run to pharmacy for needles.

I didn’t have delayed development.
They looked normal at lock down. Such that i locked them down.
Air cells were normal
I haven’t eggtopsied.
But at day 25 many haven’t hatched.
