June Hatch A Long

So I woke up today & my baby was gone :( I'm so completely heartbroken, I can't even put it into words. He did sleep a ton, & he kept trying to walk but couldn't & did seem weak last night, so I tried to give him food & water & he just wouldn't accept it, but I went to bed thinking that everything would be okay today, & he just needed time :( I wanted to come back & truly thank you guys though, for walking me through everything. If it wasn't for all of you, he would have had no chance at all, & I'm glad that we had that day with him...

I am so sorry

Good morning! I woke up to 2 True Blues and 3 Mottled Orpingtons that hatched during the night. Lol, so much for our CCL theory @jolenesdad . :lau
I do see another pipped CCL but I can't tell on the fourth because they've been playing chick soccer.
Can’t wait to see the WTB pics!!!

Well, the d'Anvers chick won't be lonely. Two pyncheon chicks hatched during the night. I didn't expect the deformed looking bump on their heads so that was a bit unsettling lol. One more is on its way out and I think the rest are dead... So 4 chicks out of 24 eggs. Ugh.
I’m sorry for the poor hatch! So glad you don’t have just one lonely chick!!!

Not my photo.... look what I just saw on fB!!!! Color me so impressed. They’re from amazon and called honeycomb drawer dividers.

Got the eggs moved! And.... they have a perfect spot in the new bedroom under the watchful eye of Dolly.

My husband is obsessed with Dolly Parton so I have a habit of naming farm animals (see my screename) after Dolly Parton songs to get him interested in my farm hobbies. :lau

That's a great idea!! I'll have to try naming animals after hunting or soccer things for my hubby...
