annnnnd I may have ordered some Mille Fleur Belgian d’uccle and Swedish Hedemora eggs... from the same place the duck eggs came from. I was happy with their packing and shipping speed, etc, so, you know....

I had said I wouldn’t get chickens because some of their beaky faces freak me out when they are full grown. So now I have 12 chickens eggs coming.

So I was just coming on here to say. Y'all said throw in all the different breeds eggs. Well your wish is my command... I have Cochin Deathlayers, Polish Deathlayers, Bantam Brahma, Rhode Island Deathlayers, and RSL Deathlayer crosses (I dont know what to call these everything is too inappropriate lol)

Come on little Metal Band... Naming them all after heavy metal or rock... We need to finish Ozzy's band. I want to make a sign for their coop that says "Cluck Off". Our friend says we need a flag that says "We don't give a Cluck"

I think Covid has slightly made me go chicken mental

I want to see if spraying eggs with vitamin b complex will help duck eggs have stronger veins and ducklings at hatch. I am also wondering if it will prevent the issues that occur with niacin defiency.

Make a thread about it and make sure to post it on here. I want to follow along...

This gave me a good laugh. I loved my chickens more than the ducks, that's why the ducks were traded for two nice bunnies.

Just a whole ton of random thoughts in one place, but I did put a dozen eggs in. They better not be all black because I will curse Squatch. I have waited over a month to put their eggs in because I want different colored chicks not black.

This is me, as well... I was pretty psyched to end up with half non-black birds out of my last hatch, since I have more black hens than anything *and* two (mostly) black roos.

Now, with my luck the pretty ones will all be cockerels. One does have a suspicious looking comb at 18 days...

Hopefully you have better odds!

Just candled 3/10 eggs super quick while I was turning them tonight.....and all have spider veins! I’m really hopeful for this hatch as I have a new incubator this time, and I’m hatching silkie/polish mixes (some possible pure) and bantams this time! I will candle all on day 7.

Hopefully... I have jersey giant crosses (the only two white ones ever with my black jersey giant) eggs. My friend has them and he bred them with his Deathlayers so now I’ll have cool looking ones hopefully because he gave me a dozen eggs to hatch.

Im not sure what these other ones will look like but I’m excited to see the Cochin Deathlayers
