They are hospital bad pads. I've used them for years when I was breeding dogs. They are easy to change and easy to wash!

Did you sign up for informed delivery on USPS so you can monitor the package more easily? You can do the same with the tracking number but I like informed delivery because it's easy to look up anything coming to your address even without tracking info.

If it was shipped priority it's not unusual for it to take 2-3 days. Mine was shipped yesterday and says it will arrive Saturday but last time it arrived Friday so hopefully that happens again!

I live in Ireland so no USPS but the seller did not give me a tracking number. Maybe I will text him and ask...my eggs are coming from England.

I am thinking about putting one of my one week babies with it at a time and seeing how that goes then in a few days seeing if they will accept it.

How long does it usually take from pip to hatched ? Its only been 12 hours since the first one broke trough its shell and I'm just curious how much longer until I meet this cutie?

Can be up to 48 hours from external pip but usually 24 hours. It’ll be hatched in 12 hours or so

Checked last night and #12 egg was dead. It also happened to be the overly porous one that looked super weird (but alive) when I candled it before lockdown.

Sooo, I'm done! And I haven't had any interest in them yet Part of me is happy because this batch should have some neat colors, but the other part of me wonders WTF I am going to do next year with so many layers (I don't even like eggs that much...they are basically pets).
