Yes, I did get some eggs "on the down low" once but I also had eggs sent back return to sender, because the breeder did not know they needed permits and they wrote "hatching eggs" all over the box. I got a phone call, an e-mail and an official letter from the department of agriculture. They were not happy about it and let me go with a "warning". As some one who doesn't even speed on the highway, freaked me out a little bit!

Yes, I could not get anybody on eBay to send me eggs because of the Hawaii thing! I actually wrote to 25 different ameraucana breeders and only two would send to Hawaii!

I had a janoel-12 and a rite farm 3600, in which I was hatching once or twice a month, but I just got my Dickey's 3x1 set-up on Friday. I have 5 buff silkie eggs off of ebay that go into lockdown on Tuesday. And I set up 46 brown layer eggs and 10 golden laced polish eggs. Safe to say I am loving my new incubator and my addiction is about to get enabled a lot more.
In the US you have to be NPIP certified or you cannot ship eggs.Only certain states require it. Hawaii is one of them! Everyone else can just send eggs in the regular mail without a permit I believe. Because of the limited availability here in Hawaii, have to do the shipped eggs If you want specific breeds.
