I’m getting ready to set my eggs tonight. Just finishing getting the incubator set up and then I’ll be putting them in there.

3 of 3 eggs hatched. 100% hatched upright in the turner (unplugged).

I have more hatching in 6 days and 9 days. I will see how the turner works with those.

Day 16 here.
I broke my "I going to quit candling and touching the eggs so much" rule tonight and am glad I did. One baby was playing soccer and I could clearly see the foot and toes kicking all over the place.

Tomorrow is lockdown day for my chicken eggs. I am putting my duck eggs in lockdown too at the same time. They are due two or three days after the chicks.

I did get a surprise from someone on Facebook today. They want to buy any black East Indie I hatch next week. I was almost struck stupid. But $200 is $200 and I can buy more eggs from a different flock and add to my genetics of that flock.
