June Hatch-A-Long

So are you getting a place that allows roosters? I couldn’t imagine not being able to hatch my own eggs. That thought scares me
Oh god yes. No restrictions is the one and only requirement for the future.

Oh, you are doing it the smart and logical way. Unlike me *cough*...

I was lucky in that my last larger farm had no restrictions nor does my newer smaller farm. I still have enough acres to have what I want, though the acres are not flat in any way, but when you live in the mountains. And, no more plowing snow, busting ice in the water troughs, or delivering babies in -0F. I miss it all, but I don't miss doing it all, by myself.

Here's hoping your place sells fast and for over the asking. And hoping you and the crew find the farm of your dreams. :fl :fl :fl
Did I ever ask...what kind of horses?
Oh, and how are the other Sebastopols doing?
They’re doing so well and HUGE! I’ll try and take a photo when I let them out for the evening.

I have two moms and daughters. Lucille and Dolly, and Cover Girl and Jolene. (Jolene hence the member name)

we adopted Lucille and Dolly the day Dolly was born from the SPCA. Lucille had been SHOT when the SPcA confiscated her at like 9 months pregnant. The bullet was still in her shoulder and they removed it and had a healthy baby. Lucille is permanently injured but they’re both really nice bred quarter horses. They’re identical and chestnut with flaxen manes.

cover girl I bought pregnant. She and Jolene are both Missouri Foxtrotters CG is a palomino and Jolene is a smoky black pinto.

Aww, I'm so glad Lucille and Dolly found you when they did! Don't often see flaxen manes and tails on QHs, let alone mother and daughter... I bet they are gorgeous. MFT are nice nice horses and they sound beautiful too.

Careful, goats are addicting. Probably more so than chickens. We have a saying....goats are like potato chips, you can never have just one.
I love goats! They are my favorite animal (other then snow leopards of course, because snow leopards are so amazing). I had pygmy goats when I was a kid and young teen, 4-H, FFA the whole bit, went to an Ag high school, where things like "horsemanship" and "chicken raising", were part of the curriculum, the good old days before school budgets were cut. I would have goats and horses in a heartbeat if I had the time and space for them!:love
