Today is day 19 (I double checked just to make sure) and there appears to be one egg that has already made a huge hole! Little guy is in a hurry to get out, I guess. It's a Buff Orp/Brahma mix so I'm wondering if the mix has something to do with the earlier hatch out? He's not out yet but I can easily see it popping out by tonight.
A bunch of the other eggs are wiggling around. I love hatching eggs!

Looks like I will have 5 out of 8 going into lockdown tomorrow. I have started raising the humidity a bit, but it is raining here so it doesn't take much.

My crazy butt went and traded some of my buff orp eggs for some australop eggs, theyll be shipped tomorrow. So by the end of the month....Ill have some of them too.....Now just what am I gonna do with australops??? heehee play with 'em!

We have 1 black australorp - her name is Matilda... not the sweetest bird we have, but definitely needs to know what is going on.
