June Hatch a Long

Here's the babies!!!! Does anyone know what the yellow chicks might be??? They were all supposed to be silkies, but they don't have enough toes, they don't have feathered legs, and they're bigger than the 2 silkies...

PIP! I'm so EGGcited! I know that this little one isn't out of the woods yet, but for my first hatch, and my only egg that made it to day 21 (today) I am very happy.

update on the broody polak ?
Still sittin' on five from the bator. The other 4 were gone so I culled them yesterday. This is day 21. Took her out for a stroll this morning and checked the eggs while she was out real quickly. They all seemed ok. Did not see movement but I did not really have the time to look that long because I didn't want her to be off them much. I will check them again tonight to see if there is any pipping. Just don't know how much fiddling they can stand.

The two she was sitting on originally are in the bator and I can see what's going on pretty clearly now when I candle, probably because I kinda know what I am looking for. If none of the 5 hatch, I may put them back under her on Tuesday. If she hatches any of the five I will finish the two in the bator. Probably be a wise move to do that anyway so I can watch the process without having to stick my head under a chicken....LOL!!

Should I just leave them like this for lockdown?
