June Hatch a Long

Yeah, I'm going to pick out something nice for lockdown to ease my nerves. Maybe I should get a taste for my hubby's scotch? Nah, I'm liking the sound of margaritas!

Eggs are starting to hatch. Day 19. The one egg that had pipped last night still hasn't hatched but he is making slow progress. 7 more had pipped by this morning and 3 had hatched when I got home this afternoon. Guess it just takes longer than you realize. Im not gonna mess with them though, figure they'll come out when they're ready.

My crew just went into lockdown.

I have one egg with a detatched air cell in a cut out egg carton, 2 that appear to have blood rings and 2 more that don't look quite right.

That leaves 7 possibles. I'm keeping everything crossed. Temp steady at 99, humidity now up to 70 from 30%. What should I shoot for?

My lavender orpingtons and blue copper marans are going into lockdown on Monday, this feels like it's taking forrrrrrrrrrrever!!!!
Last candling I had 18 looking good, so we'll see what I get!

Hey, we are hatching buddies! I just locked down a few hours ago. You should shoot for about 65%, depending on where you live. I am in a humid spot, so I keep it a little lower, 55-60% during lockdown (I do dry incubation).
I have one egg rocking, but no other signs of activity yet. Good luck!
