June Hatch a Long

Is it too late to join?? I put 18 eggs under my 3 broodies yesterday but took in 14 this morning when I went out to find that there were 2 broodies in the same nest with 5 eggs still warm but unattended. So technically I suppose today is my day one although it could be day zero... Anyway I hope I can still join!

No Mallory, we closed off all new members at 12:00 NOON today. Better luck with the next Group!

She was attacked by a dog. The dog broke all of the bones in her wing and almost had it ripped off completely. I sprayed it with vetercyn and let it heal. Then a few days later I cut the rest of the wing off. Today I took the bandage off and it has all healed and she is back with her flock. She had still been laying eggs for me so now I have a handicap chicken named Rosie who is as strong as an ox!

GF just read temps 99, 101, 103.3

I meant to respond to this last night, but got side-tracked.
What type of thermometers are you using?
Some thermometers are not very accurate.
If there is a light shining on the thermometer, it might give you a false high reading.
Can you switch/move the thermometers around and see if the readings stay the same?
