June Hatch a Long

Yesterday was day 14. Candled my eggs here are the results.

Lavender Orpington - 5/7

Silver Sussex - 9/15

Coronation Sussex - 2/8 (not happy)

BO Roo X BA hen - 4/4

well today is day 19 for me and I am so excited... woke up some rockers and I can hear them tapping and chirping. I might have a few early birds. congrats to everyone with pips and zips and so forth. I will keep you all updated as well as post some pics when they start hatching.

You must be going nuts! Lol! I know I would be! I'd guess within next 24 hours you should at least see a pip! Sounds like you'll have some real cuties hatching. Best of luck! Can't wait to see them!

I know I am going batty....lol. I keep going in the room checking for pips hehe. lots of smudges on the bator windows. not much longer now. I just hope most if not all of them hatch. when I candled last they were all pretty active and moving around a lot so I have high hopes. I think I just made a major huge mistake tho. I pointed out to my 5 year old that the eggs were rocking and let her hear them tap and chirp. she is now hovering over the bator waiting for the babies to come out lol.

I had the worst luck on shipped eggs only 2 eggs went to lock down out of the 36 : ( I'm staying away from shipped eggs...
12 Brahma none made it
12 silkie 2 are on lockdown at the moment
12 Sultans none made it

I have 12 Silver seabrights in the incubator and tomorrow is day 7 I get to candle them wish me luck!
