June Hatch a Long

After my last 3 hatches yielded me a big fat zero each time, I finally have a pip! And not from the local eggs, but the shipped! Keeping my fingers crossed for more, as my Navy son is home and this hatch was intended for his kids to watch!
How exiting I am wishing the best for you
It's like Christmas that you keep waking up in the morning but are told you were a day off... then again :D hehehehe I decided to lay all of my eggs down this time (except for the 3 I put in a day after the others, I know, bad me). Those three are in a carton in the corner so hopefully they won't get kicked around too much! But as I was endlessly staring at the eggs I saw 3 of them move!!! I called my kids in and they saw it too so I know it's not just wishful thinking :D I still don't expect a pip until tonight or tomorrow but WHOOOO! Oh and the humidity is now staying at 70%. A bit higher than I'd like but I'm not going to mess with it anymore. :fl :pop
That is wonderful
Hee hee, the waiting is a killer! Even with half of my chicks hatched, the 2 eggs with no pips yet are killing me!!!! To help with the waiting I stole some pics of Ava with her new babies. The incubator babies aren't fluffy yet, so I am waiting until the hatch is done for their photo op :) MIC in her/his new home :) Sunny peaking out Sunny's Close-up

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE silkies!!!
I finally had to stop raising them though because we can only have so many chickens in the city so I'd have a few silkies, get super attached, then 5 months down the line find out I had boys!
My first silkie was a blue roo and I wouldn't part with him, ended up keeping him for 3 months after he started crowing. I bought a chicken diaper (a real thing!!!) and would get him at 5am and bring him in the house until like 9am when he stopped. (We aren't allowed roosters here). Finally it was too much and he needed a new home. Still my favorite chicken I've ever had!!!

yep, I agree. Nothing moving in mine, but every now and then I am sure I hear something but when I get up and look, nothing to see.
I went with a dry hatch for the first 10 days but when I saw the air cells, I thought they were too big and I had to add some water which took the humidity up and it fluctuated between 34 and 44%. My house is very humid but I am running a humidifier all the time but it shows humidy at about 65% in my room so now I am worried that either I 'dried' them out too much or I 'watered' them too much. I don't do things simply always got to be complicated

I need a icon like this without any popcorn cos it has all been eaten, onto my nails now

Hatching is ALWAYS complicated. I keep blasting my top vent hole with a hair drier every hour or so when the humidity goes up so I don't let any heat out :D

I need to go buy my margarita mix now! hehehehe I don't think they have an avatar for that
