These are pure Narragansetts. Here's a photo of mom and dad at 9 months old. I am very fond of these birds, the hens and toms are shaded differently, they are a larger turkey (comparable to Bourbon Red, not Royal Palm, in size), and the line I have has a great temperament. They are very social and I have a mixed flock of youngsters from two weeks to three months old. They also put up with the Cornish x Rock broilers for 9 weeks, and started life with a half a dozen bantams that are still smaller than three week old poults.

I have eight hatching eggs available right now. I haven't shipped eggs before so I don't know what the packaging and shipping would cost. I am in SE Michigan.

Boys! They think they're soooo funny!

My BO lexi is on day 15 of her second set of eggs. She sat 10 days the first time with tragic results. All 4 eggs are good on development this time. Two with repaired cracks so fingers crossed.
Gloria is doing great with her six hatched last week. Such a good mom. I watched her kick the crap out of my cat today. Lol. Silly kitty. My dog stands guard with the rooster for her too. It's a funny sight. Those babies are safe!
Can't wait for next Thurs. Hope lexi is as lucky!

I would probably strangle my DH for that! lol jk but it would be going through my mind. I would probably give him a slap one the arm or something though
