June Hatch-A-Long

:ya Everyone!

I'm getting really impatient to see any progress. How soon can I see anything? I set them Thursday morning, lol. So day 3 I guess because Thurs doesn't count. I haven't set my quail eggs yet (they're in a cooler at 70°) but I candled just curious how the spots look and I didn't know unincubated eggs have air cells too! Now I want to see all my tiny air cells on my chickens. I handle the crap out of my eggs but I don't have a turner or fan. If they have no air cells on day 3 does that mean they're infertile?

All 7 of my duckies have hatched! I have 3 mystery ducklings though.. 2 of them were supposed to be muscovy ducklings, but obviously aren't. One looks like an Ancona duckling and the other looks like a black call duckling. One of the ducklings that is supposed to be a Rouen has a very very light colour.. I've never seen a Rouen with this light of a colour variation. It looks like a light Khaki Campbell duckling or something. Maybe Saxony??
What's the lightest colour variation any of you have seen in Rouen ducklings?? Pictures would be helpful!
Thanks in advance!

I just put my quail eggs on lock down...candled some of them first, though, and was very happy to see lots of movement inside those tiny little shells.

@BirdyGirl7198
, my first thought was Swedish, with the middle duckling being a Blue Swedish.  But they sure are cute, no matter what they are. :)

I'll see if the other one is a Blue Swedish, but the darker one probably isn't a Swedish. I say that because of his mismatched feet, beak, and a black spot in the middle of his head.

It's easier to see in this photo
They are very cute and I love them no matter what! :)

I just had one of 8 chicks hatch :) it came out of a RIR egg with an EE dad. Two more eggs have piped. One pipped towards the middle of the egg and not in the air cell... should I be concerned?
