the green color is literally flaking off. Ever seen anything like this?

Never seen anything like that thats really weird hopefully her eggs go back to normal
 
If you flake it off just right you could make it look like the earth

JK...that's kinda weird! Pretty color underneath. I wonder what causes some of these things?

Not sure whats going on but lets hope the next two eggs will be fine. Keep us posted!
 
Ink jets, LOL! Love that. I know it's June's, but usually they are a light minty green, not this weird army green color and flaking off like old paint to boot. Maybe I'll blame it on the icy temps and snow, must worse than normal for us and for a longer period of time than these birds have ever experienced.
