I have been desperately trying to find Jungle fowl for sale ever since my girlfriends mum said she keeps chickens and stupidly (not knowing how hard it is to find them) trying to be Impressive said I would get her some. please, please, PLEASE! If you know where I can buy Jungle fowl post some info for me.

Thanks and regards

I started to say there are a few hatcheries that carry them then I noticed you live in Australia so I don't know about there. Good luck in finding some.

Did you check any of the hatcheries you may have over there? Or hear of maybe someone who may sell some?

from Ohio. So glad you joined. If you can't find any hatcheries around you, maybe a local paper will have some breeders around. Good luck.

Welcome from northern California!

Do you have Craigslist or anything similar to it in Australia? If so, that might be a good place to post a wanted ad! That's what I do whenever I'm after some unusual poultry, and while it's not always a perfect system it at least gives you a chance. Good luck on your hunt! I saw a pair of Grey Junglefowl at the PPBA Stockton show I was at earlier in the month, and they were beautiful!

If I had a pen and the money for them, I would have bought them in a instant!

Okay so I have lurking on these forums for like 2 years but I never posted or registered until just now. I figured you really needed help so I am posting one of the other chicken websites I lurk.

http://www.countrycoopchickens.com/redjunglefowl.htm

Not only do they sell both the hatching eggs, and day old chicks but they ship worldwide with insuarance on all their packages. Just be prepared to spend like 100$ on the insuarance if you are in australia.

Hope this helps.
