My cousin trapped a dozen jungle fowl in his yard and gave them to me to put on my 15 acres. I kept them in a 10X10 pen for a couple of weeks and then released them in the yard. They seem to be doing quite well and seem to love the thick vines and bushes behind the house. We sit on the back porch and watch them every evening. I used a trail camera to take their pictures where we feed and water them. They roost about 30 yards behind the feeding area. We have a local town (Fitzgerald) that actually protects them and the town has a "Wild Chicken Festival" every year. I made an avatar out of the dominant rooster. Aren't they beautiful?
