They don't mind the colder days, and I don't let them out if its freezing. Seems like I read somewhere that they can survive with temperature in the teens. I talked with a guy from Minnesota that said he couldn't get to survive there...not sure where exactly in Minn. We can get artic blast down here that will drop temperatures below zero. I put out a heat lamp for my domestic chickens when it get that cold. I guess if I'm really insterested I should look at the natural range/habitat/climate and make some guesses from there.

I was told it wont be a problem to have no light on my red junglefowl.My red males got frostbite on their comb. So I would reccomed a light if at all possibe.

see toejams post, it got cold enough for frost bite on the reds he has, but didnt loose them....

here is a pic of the Grey and two of the Bengal hens I am breeding him to. Not a good picture of the hens, but you can see some grey traits in them. I can't wait to see what the 5/8 Grey chicks look like/
