(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

• I became a chicken tender () in 2024.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

• right now we have 20 chickens.

(3) What breeds do you have?

• polish, Americana, Bluebell, Australorp, Barred Rock and then a bunch of BYM.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

• I love my chickens. They are the best!! I love how they each have their own personalities.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

• raising ducks, gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

• I’m a mom to 1, my husband is the chicken whisperer, and he loves our birds as much as my daughter and I do. He has a bond with each of our roosters.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

• I’ve referenced it since 2024 but now I want to be able to post and interact with everyone!
