Well, they are too young to develop male feathering yet, that's at 12 weeks. I just don't want to have to wait that long!That's perfectly fine. There is nothing that screams rooster in these pictures. They are developing hen feathers.
Thanks!Both Easter Eggers are looking like pullets so far.Most of my EE cockerels were pretty obvious by this age (going strictly on patchy patterns, of course...a couple proved slightly more difficult due to their color type). Everything's appearing quite even so far, which is a good sign.

I'm honestly not sure about the Faverolles, as I have never owned a roo.

I've been breeding Silkies for just a couple years now... I would say that is actually splash and still developing. I have had several come out that color. They sure are beauties!I'm pretty positive that this is a blue, although it was completely white as a chick, just like a splash.
