I have felt a little poorly today til I went out to let my guineas out for the day. My little dog Champ, (one eyed dog) kept chasing Sal our male! (The dogs are on a leash) Well Sal looked as though he was skipping rope!!!!!

I Laughed so loud they all stopped to look at me which made me laugh harder! It's hard to out sing a guinea!!!!!But I guess they thought I did a good Job! Now if they'll just come home tonite!

Yeah, they like it a lot better and nothing seems to bother them. I have just been going around getting the eggs out of the nest they are making around the house lol. I have 14 of their first eggs in the incubator now and 20 ready to go in. I will probably put them plus what I get between now and in Wednesday. Can't wait for the keets to start coming!!!

I've got 15 eggs in my 'bator due to hatch at the end of this month. 3 are from my lavenders and the rest are a variey pack from my friend. I'm so excited I could just SCREAM! I also have 18+ waiting patiently for their turn. I had to lock up my flock into Fowlcatraz (big dog kennel I use as a grow out area) for a week to condition them to lay in the coop in there. I wasn't having any success with finding nests, but was finding plenty of 'coon eaten eggs...and I was sick of it! Now my lavender ladies are free ranging again and coming back to lay (so far) in the mini coop in Fowlcatraz. I just hope they keep it up! Next in the works? Another 'bator so I can keep these babies hatching! WOO-HOO!!!!
