Just a Homestead Girl

Hi everyone! New suburban homesteader here, and when I say new, I mean NEW! I have 5 little Buff Orpingtons, Daisy, Iris, Peony, Tulip and Violet in a brooder in our spare bathroom. They're about to turn two weeks old. I have adjusted their heat lamp by observing their behaviors and I've been hand feeding them boiled egg yolks on top of their organic chicken starter. Any and all helpful suggestions are welcome. I'm loving this site and read threads continually!

Hello from Tennessee. I use the spare bathroom to raise chicks too. The bathtub is my brooder; can't get something easier to keep clean than a working bathtub.
