Must be... My parents are always telling me that I don't eat right...
A couple really healthy things to eat are keifer (plain can be bitter the first time you taste it, but other flavors make it less bitter), yogurt, raw cow milk - raw as in it hasn't been homogenized and pasteurized. Pasteurizing is cooking at really high temps to kill everything in it. (Good probiotics, and bad bugs) which makes it just a substance when they kill everything in it. Homogenizing is sifting all that yummy cream out!
One gal I know had asthma really bad, so they put her on raw cow millk. She's never had asthma since! And I know this sounds nasty but liver is really good for you too. Cod liver oil is amazing! My mom has always had it in the pantry and I've always detested it. Until I was feeling horrible one day and I took a chewable one. (Doesn't taste fishy at all! It just tastes flat, like nothing.) I felt great! Then I started taking fermented cod liver oil with cinnamon and I feel even better! My tummy doesn't hurt after meals and I feel ready to take on the world!
Things you should avoid are canola oil, yes I know some advertise it as good. In reality it's crud. TBHG, EDTA, corn syrup, if you scan through the ingredients on the food box you'll discover some nasty surprises. Google searches have the best info on these so called foods. Food inc, is also a really good movie/documentary to watch. I could go on, and on about bad foods but I don't want to kill the thread. Lol.
Wish you the best,
WW - oh and hydrogenated corn, coconut or any other oil that hydrogenated is really bad on your stomach and intestines.
I aggree with you, my brother, Amigo, had REALLY bad asthma, we got rid of all the surgar, starch, and weat, ect. NO asthma left! And we drink raw goats milk, even better than cows. The only thing I don't aggree with you about is the coconut oil, that stuff has helped us, not hurt us,
