Just another reason to check with the neighbors before getting peas...

Wow no wonder why I don't get stung! You know I figured it was the male that was defending the hole and fighting off the other bees, but I never knew he lacked a stinger! Very awesome info!

Haha Zaz that is funny when I get out a pencil to mark eggs once I find them, Peep likes to take the pencil from me and run off with it. He always seems so proud that he took the pencil too. I feel like if you lived in an area like that you could get a cover for your car. That way the peafowl won't get distracted by the shiny surface.
Take it from me, if you put a cover on anything those silly birds will get up on it and scratch the fabric, i seen them do it here with my new lawnmower, my new tractor , both now have scratches

But this is a farm and i got to remember that when i am done using something i do not want scratched, got to put them inside.

wow... there goes my dream heh. Hubby would murder me if i got these and they scratched his car...its not new, and its not perfect, but my grandmother bought it when she knew she was probably going to die soon, and left it to him in her will, so he is VERY protective of it... you would think it was a 68 'vette or something ;) its a 2008 honda CRV. I thought like the poster above, that a car cover would protect it... ::sigh:: no peas for me i guess... cant imagine keeping one penned up all the time unless hubby had the car gone... wouldnt be practical.
