Thank you! I’m sorry! I haven’t mentioned what’s holding me back! Oh, silly me

For one, it’s too cold in the winter where I live to raise chicks.
Right now I have a really really busy schedule so I can’t make time for chickens. Hopefully soon my schedule will clear up. My family is also starting to get reluctant on getting chickens(why?!) so I have some waiting and persuading to do
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to order chicks tho!

here’s my advice.
Put together a presentation listing all the responsibilities you will have then list how you would handle them.
List all the pro’s and con’s of keeping chickens.
Be sure to include how long they should live and what the feed and materials would cost vs the pure joy in your heart if you should get them.
Be willing to be flexible if you expect them to be flexible.
Be willing to make compromises. Meaning you may not get everything you want.
Sometimes we get what we need instead.
