Just bought new incubator!!! HHD 48 egg incubator

15 chicks out 2 in egg, the 2 in egg, one is in air cell, the other has veins, and movement.

2 eggs were last, the big brown one hatched a big chick. the blue one didn't 16 total chicks.

Hi this is old (last years), I don't remember how many I had in there, it was not full, (guess 16/20) I was happy with results last year, I am going to fill it up this year.

I have a second incubator with out a fan, since it may have cold spots I am going to set a few thermometers just incase.

I have the same incubator. Numbers are a bit off, but other than that it works just fine Fill it up!

My last incubation, I lowered the heat tab and it made a difference.

Hi sorry to resurrect an old thread but after a night of zero sleep I am desperate!
I have the HHD mini 24 been running it for 14 days now, 1 week prior to introducing hatching eggs and am on the 8th day. All eggs seem viable at candling on day 5 and I was very happy with the incubator. The temp and hydrometer is slightly off but I also have an alternative inside the unit.
Since 3am this morning however, the machine has gone crazy and will not come down below 39c. I have tried recalibration, I have switched it off a couple of times I have emptied and slowly refilled the water trays. Nothing is working...I have 20 eggs in there and do not want to have to sacrifice them. Please help!

is it out of the box, (some people leave it in it's box) also do you have other thermometers inside incubator to test inside temp? I never trust the digital. I am sure you didn't kill your eggs.

I would get a diff brand of incubator though, mine worked okay for the first few hatches, then no matter what I could not get the temp past 34c.
