Just call me MotherGoose :D!! Day 1 Photos

How exciting!!! I just got my new Hovabator today, and can't wait to set it up!! I do have a question though. As I was reading through the instructions, it said to not add eggs that would hatch on a different date than the ones already in there. Do you know anything about that??

They are recommending that you don't do a staggard hatch. You would need another bator/hatcher to pull it off without compromising the last set eggs.

So happy for you and I keep cheering the little goose's on! Go goose goose! I know the plural is geese but I love to say goose's and it drives my dd crazy.

The day before that egg was completely clear. So imagine my surprise when I ran the surefire over it and saw the veins!

You might be able to find a surefire locally at a sporting goods or hunting supply type store for less than ordering one online, PC. I got mine for $30 and it costs much more on the surefire website.

I like clean counters!

My first clutch of 6 goose and 10 ducks is set to hatch tomorrow. I'm heading out in a minute to dust the cobwebs off the brooder and get it ready to go. I'll have a clutch hatching every Sunday now for at least the next 4 weeks.
