Just curious... what side of the bed do you and your spouse sleep on ?

The men are supposed to sleep by the door?!?!?! Can't wait to spring that one on DH!!!

I sleep on the door side so the kids get me first!! Forget monsters! The biggest danger in our house is kids!

From the foot of the bed I am on the right DH is on the left. Used to be opposite sides in our old house. New house new door placement. I get the door.

DH on the left, me on the right. Some how its always coincided with him being closest to the door, weather at home, or in a motel room. Even on vacay, hes closest to the door. He says you never know when he'll have to shoot somebody in the middle of the night.

Ok, I see a trend here.................... Man sleeps closest to the door, so he can either defend his family or get eaten first.

im on the left when hubby is home he is on the right...

DH on the left (closest to the bathroom) and me on the right...unless you count the darn cat who feels she MUST sleep to the right of me which puts me in the middle!

It doesn't matter where the door is. I sleep on the left side (looking at the bed from the foot) and DH sleeps on the right side, no matter where we're sleeping. Heck I think we sleep like that even if we're on the floor.
